Erasmus+ applications are normaly accepted in February-March. The language exam takes place in March-April. However, the dates can be changed according to the decisions of Turkish National Agency.
Internship and Studying Mobility applications are different from each other. In both mobility students can apply through https://turnaportal.ua.gov.tr/giris. The students can apply to both mobility programs and can participate in both types of mobilities, but the total duration of mobility cannot exceed 12 months within the same education level.
Students must have at least 2.20 (undergraduate), 3.00 (master, doctorate) GPA in order to apply fort he program. Students must get at least 60 points (for internship) and 70 points (for studying) from the language exam which is organised by the foreign language department after the applications. Students who have applied for an internship can add their acceptance letter to the system during the application. It is not obligatory; however, the students will get extra 10 points if they upload the letter of acceptance to the system.

Who can apply?
Participants for the mobility program must be full-time students at İstanbul Nişantaşı University.
English Preparation, Scientific Preparation, Distance Education Programs’ students cannot apply for the Erasmus+ Mobility program.
Last year students can not apply for the Erasmus Studying Mobility Program. They can only apply for internship mobility and if they get accepted they can carry out their mobilities within 12 months after the graduation.
60 ECTS for one full academic year to carry out the studies required by the diploma/degrees of the students who will apply for Erasmus+ Study Mobility Program; 30 ECTS per semester in a two-semester academic year and 20 ECTS per semester in a three-semester academic year.
If graduate students would like to benefit from the mobility during the thesis period, they need to find a thesis advisor/supervisor at the host university. If the master students haven’t got a thesis, they can’t apply for the studying mobility. They can only apply for the internship mobility.
Applications for the Erasmus+ Studying Mobility Program are taken once a year for the next academic year. Students can benefit from Erasmus+ Mobility Program for one semester or one academic year. Our students are required to review the Erasmus Bilateral Agreements List.
Students who will participate in Erasmus+ Internship Mobility are required to complete a minimum of 2 months of mobility. Senior students can also apply for Erasmus+ Internship Mobility. They are required to carry out their mobility within 12 months of graduation.
What are the application requirements?
1- The student must be an active one registered in a higher education program in any of the formal education levels (Associate, Undergraduate, Graduate) within the higher education institution.
2- a) Undergraduate / associate degree students must have at least 2.20/4.00
- b) GPA must be at least 3.00/4.00 for master’s degree and Ph.D. students
3- Within the current education level, the period of benefiting from the activities of higher education mobility during Erasmus and Lifelong Learning (LLP) period and the total duration of the Studying and Internship period cannot exceed 12 months.
Erasmus English Language Exam
Students who wish to participate in Erasmus Mobility Program for Internship/Training must attend the written exam which will be held at Istanbul Nişantaşı University Foreign Language School.
The Erasmus English Language Exam requires a minimum of 70 points for Erasmus Study Mobility Program and a minimum of 60 points for Erasmus Internship Mobility Program.
